What we believe
We believe in an orthodox Christian message as taught through the New Testament, trusting in Jesus Christ as the unique Son of God who came to:
- Reveal the nature of the Father
- Reconcile us to God (restoring our original design)
- Pour out the Holy Spirit upon all.
We believe that ‘For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.’ (1 Corinthians 15:22) – the work of the Cross is a finished work, for all of creation, but through conversion (i.e. believing in it, seeing things from God’s perspective) we all access the benefits, trusting in Him!
We see that the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) are involved in this work, having intended man to live in relationship with the Godhead from the very beginning. We were ‘only lost because we once belonged’.
